Since I was a child I used different forms of art to provoke emotions first of all in myself and then possibly in others, and eventually I find in figurative sculpture the mean to render concrete and tangible my dreams and my imaginary worlds. I'm interested in telling fantastic stories, in showing worlds different from ours, or our own reality but seen from a divergent prospective; and I aim, if I can, to challenge and spur the imagination of the viewer. As an artist I seek the sublime, the surreal, sometimes the grotesque, not as a means to flee from reality, but as a strive to infuse reality with wonder.
