Extempore is an extensive and modular range of outdoor furniture. It offers solutions for all your day-to-day needs such as sitting, dining, lying, relaxing and reading.
However, the major innovation of the Extempore range is invisible to users. The Extempore range keeps waste material production to a minimum as each wooden element can be used on any product within the range. Furthermore, the wood originally came from areas managed by nature conservation organisations. Even today, Extremis continues to only use FSC labelled wood.
As the Extempore range is made exclusively with top-quality materials, it can be left outdoors all year long. The Extempore range is very extensive. This can be clearly seen from the wide choice of table sizes, each with matching chairs or benches, and the foot rest, lounge chair and sun lounger in the range.
The Extempore designer dining tables come in four different heights (23 cm, 45 cm, 75 cm, 96 cm, and 105 cm), eleven different tabletop sizes and square and rectangular versions.

The chairs, low chairs, and benches can all be neatly stacked. This keeps the Extempore products compact during transport.
Jatoba wood
Jatoba wood has exceptional qualities. The durability and stability is extremely high for long, thin slats, which was a key design issue for the whole Extempore range. After intensive collaboration with several authorities such as universities and nature & wild life organizations, Jatoba hardwood came out as the most stable and sustainable species that is widely available.
Anodised Aluminium
Anodising is a process which increases the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of the aluminium. This layer protects the aluminium from corrosion. We have chosen not to give the aluminium any further treatment, as this would not lengthen its lifespan and would also be very bad for the environment.

The highest stainless steel quality available is type AISI 316. Aggressive environmental conditions caused by chlorides, acid rain, salt and other rusty materials will require periodic maintenance.

Chair Cushion Materials: Sunbrella
All Extempore outdoor chairs come with optional cushions made from Sunbrella. The soft fabric combines ultimate comfort with the best outdoor quality available. The chair cushions fit snugly to the seats with a strap which keeps them from being blown away by the wind. You should store the chair cushions inside.
Sunbrella® is an acrylic fabric that is still known as the best outdoor fabric available for making cushions. The raw material is Sunbrella® solution-dyed acrylic fibre. The colour pigments are locked right into the very heart of the fibres during the initial stage of the manufacturing process, before the yarn is even made Sunbrella® colours stand up to tough weather conditions and years of sun exposure.
Choose wisely
Our Sunbrella cushions and blankets are machine washable at low temperatures. A white and a coloured cushion can both get dirty, but the white one will look dirtier sooner. Do not tumble dry.
