Vogue Litter Bin

 

The load-bearing structure of the VOGUE bin is made in steel sheet of 30/10 thickness, on which 2 plates of 30/10 thickness are welded. Two pivots of 8 mm diam x16 mm are welded to the lower part on the left and serve as hinges and fixing of the back of the bin. Only one pivot is welded on the plate of the right for the fixing of the back of the bin. On the lower part of the structure, which is folded along the whole length with an edge 30×15 mm, there are 4 holes M10 for the fixing of the structure on the concrete base through specific bolts. The cover is made in steel sheet of 15/10 thickness with pressing of H. 120 mm. It is fixed to the load-bearing structure through 3 screws M8 on specific threaded inserts.

 

The opening is made in pressed steel sheet of 30/10 thickness. On the plate 3 pivots of 8 mm diam. x 16 mm are welded: 2 are meant for the fixing of the back of the bin, whereas the other one is meant for the door. The plate is fixed to the load-bearing structure of the bin through 2 screws M8 (the ones used for the cover) and 2 countersunk screws M5.

 

The door and the back, made in steel of 15/10 thickness, are reinforced with profiles 30/10 thick. On the door a spring lock with triangular key is applied. The inner bag -holder is made in steel of 20/10 thickness. To help with the extraction of the bag, the bag-holder is fixed to the door of the bin through 4 screws M5, fixed on a plate of 30/10 thickness. On the bag-holder 3 loops are created through laser-cut in order to keep the string in place (provided with the bin). The sides present calendered parts (15/10 thick). On the upper part of the right side a plate, with pierced sheet (holes of 5 mm diam.), with a hole in the middle of 20 mm diam, is welded.

 

Underneath there is a slot 85×10 mm to keep the ashes. Inside the bin, on the load-bearing structure there is the place for a cilyndrical container for the cigarette butts, made in galvanized steel of 10/10 thickness. This one is placed in correspondence with the hole of the right side. The VOGUE bin is provided with a concrete base.

 

For the realisation of this product made in Italia, Steel EN10111DD11 is used and later treated with a cycle of sandblasting, cataphoresis and powder coating. Such cycle is meant to guarantee the protection of the painted products, in an environment of C4 corrosion class, as requested by the UNI regulations  EN ISO 12944-2. The products are eventually polyester-powder coated with RAL colours at choice.

The galvanized steel used is steel EN10346DX51D+Z and, unless otherwise stated, is not painted.
