The design exercise bike
Ciclotte Bike is the result of an aesthetic research inspired by ergonomics and essentiality and realized by using high-tech materials like carbon fibres, glass fibres and steel.
The iconic circular shape and the use of carbon express the bike’s strong sporting vocation, which is revealed during every training session.
The frame is designed to adapt to the 5 spinning positions.
The innovative turn multiplier transmission and the rotation of the outer wheel make the exercise unique, faithfully replicating the sensation of cycling on the road.
The resistance is obtained with a sophisticated electromagnetic system remotely controlled via Bluetooth.
A special kit consisting of a support for smartphones and tablets and an electronic chip has been designed to connect the bike to any mobile device via Bluetooth.
The mobile device integration offers numerous entertainment possibilities while pedaling. Thanks to the kit, it is possible to enjoy video, music and street simulation via Kinomap APP.
Kinomap allows you to monitor the parameters of your workouts, compete with your friends and ride on the most beautiful routes in the world.

THE BIRTH OF A STYLE EXERCISE
The Ciclotte project was born from the evolution of Ciclò, the original concept of monocycle designed to meet the need for sustainable urban mobility. In a world where pollution and traffic are a constant daily concern, Ciclò, an innovative model of one-wheeled city bike, would have been the solution.
Designed in carbon to guarantee maximum lightness, ease of use and transportability, characterized by an iconic circular shape reminiscent of the retro monocycles of the late 19th century, and transformed into an object of refined engineering, Ciclò in 2007 became part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Italian Design, La Triennale di Milano.
Thanks to the success reaped, first of all by an audience who wanted it as an object for their home, the project was engineered on an industrial level, evolved into a functional fitness version with a special focus on design, making the iconic circle shape its symbol.
This is how the Ciclotte brand and its line have effectively become a must for the Interior Design and luxury fitness worlds.

About the Designer
Luca Schieppati was born in Italy in 1979. He earned a degree in Industrial Design from the Polytechnic of Milan and is a professor at the European Design Institute where he teaches a course in graphic art and computer graphics. His projects have been included in large national and international exhibitions.
