The unique design of Ciclotte bike meets the warmth of wood and the unique know-how of the Dtales artisan atelier.
Ciclotte Dtales is the new version of bike characterized by finishes either in open-pore finished grey ash or Makassar ebony (one of the rarest and most precious wood species in the world), mother-of-pearl inlay and mat carbon fibre combined in a creation which is a real art-craft, hitherto reserved only to the world of aviation.
The Ciclotte DTales bike is again a pure synthesis of elegance and exceptional craftsmanship, from start to finish, for the most demanding customers: of course completely Hand Made in Italy.
The icing on the cake to further enrich the version is the opportunity, at customers’ choice, of inserting their initials or a logo, realized with the finest marquetry technique: a true tribute to Made In Italy design and the noble art of cabinet-making.
A special kit consisting of a smartphone and tablet holder and an electronic chip is designed to connect the bike to any mobile device via Bluetooth.
Multimedia integration offers numerous possibilities for entertainment while cycling. Thanks to the kit, it is possible to enjoy video and music content and route simulation via the APP Kinomap.
THE BIRTH OF A STYLE EXERCISE
The Ciclotte project was born from the evolution of Ciclò, the original concept of monocycle designed to meet the need for sustainable urban mobility. In a world where pollution and traffic are a constant daily concern, Ciclò, an innovative model of one-wheeled city bike, would have been the solution.
Designed in carbon to guarantee maximum lightness, ease of use and transportability, characterized by an iconic circular shape reminiscent of the retro monocycles of the late 19th century, and transformed into an object of refined engineering, Ciclò in 2007 became part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Italian Design, La Triennale di Milano.
Thanks to the success reaped, first of all by an audience who wanted it as an object for their home, the project was engineered on an industrial level, evolved into a functional fitness version with a special focus on design, making the iconic circle shape its symbol.
This is how the Ciclotte brand and its line have effectively become a must for the Interior Design and luxury fitness worlds.

About the Designer
Luca Schieppati was born in Italy in 1979. He earned a degree in Industrial Design from the Polytechnic of Milan and is a professor at the European Design Institute where he teaches a course in graphic art and computer graphics. His projects have been included in large national and international exhibitions.
